Acceptable use policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with Lumi. It supplements the Terms of Service. Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Intended use

Lumi is designed to help you manage your digital life through voice and text commands. Intended uses include managing your calendar/contacts/reminders, sending messages and emails through connected services, searching and organizing documents, adjusting device settings, coordinating workflows, and getting information.

2. Prohibited uses

Harmful actions

You may not use Lumi to send threatening or abusive messages, impersonate another person, send spam, generate defamatory or obscene content, or facilitate illegal activities.

Unauthorized access

You may not use Lumi to access accounts or data you are not authorized to access, bypass security controls, probe vulnerabilities, or use another person's credentials without consent.

System abuse

You may not reverse-engineer the App, circumvent usage limits, create automated scripts that interact with Lumi without direct user initiation, resell access without permission, or interfere with Lumi's infrastructure.

AI-specific restrictions

You may not use Lumi to misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created when disclosure is legally required, extract or replicate the underlying models, build competing AI products, manipulate Lumi's safety guidelines, or use Lumi for regulated-domain decisions without appropriate human oversight.

High-risk use cases

Lumi is not designed for and must not be used in safety-critical systems, autonomous financial transactions, medical decision-making, legal proceedings as a substitute for counsel, or operating physical systems.

3. Business account responsibilities

Administrators are responsible for ensuring users comply with this AUP, configuring access controls, and ensuring use of Lumi complies with applicable laws and the organization's data governance.

4. Reporting violations

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, report it to lumi-abuse@nexoragroup.dev. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

5. Consequences of violation

Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, permanent termination, or reporting to law enforcement. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
